History and Role of the ISDH

The ISDH was formally established in 2002. It serves to promote, preserve and protect the oral health of people with disabilities. The Officers of the Society consist of the President, the Immediate Past-President, the President Elect, the Honorary Secretary, the Honorary Membership Secretary and the Honorary Treasurer. The officers and other members committee meets four times per year to manage the business and running of the society and also to organise  a summer conference on a multi-disciplinary topic related to oral heath and disability for the whole dental team.

Members views and involvement in the running of the society are very important to ISDH and we would encourage interested people to apply to be members of the  committee. Elections take place once a year during the month of June
